Muslim Community Association condemns Israel’s bombing of Gaza hospital
The Muslim Community Association (MCA) strongly condemns Israel’s bombing of Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza tonight, resulting in the death of over 500 Palestinians.
MCA echoes human rights groups across the globe that have condemned Israel’s full siege of Gaza and indiscriminate bombing which amounts to crimes against humanity.
MCA President, Hamid Hussain Azad, said “the Israeli occupation forces are blatantly trashing the rules of war and in flagrant violation of all international laws and conventions. Targeting a hospital is an act of terrorism and is despicable.”
He further added, “the international community and especially countries openly backing Israel should demand Israel stop its terrorising Gaza. Israel’s backers have displayed clear double standards in their reluctance to hold Israeli accountable for criminal practices.”
The MCA calls on the international community to demand an urgent ceasefire and open safe corridors immediately to deliver food and medicine to civilians in Gaza.
