MCA Condemns Escalating Violence and Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza
The Muslim Community Association (MCA) strongly condemns the devastating escalation of violence in Gaza and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. The recent surge in airstrikes and military operations has resulted in the tragic loss of more than 400 Palestinian lives—including women and children—with thousands more injured. Entire neighbourhoods have been razed, and the humanitarian situation has reached catastrophic levels as vital aid remains blocked and families endure unimaginable suffering.
MCA Central President, Hamid Hossain Azad, expressed deep concern:
“We unequivocally condemn the ongoing targeting of innocent civilians. The international community must act immediately to hold Israel accountable for these actions. The silence and inaction of world leaders is a betrayal of the principles of justice and humanity.”
The MCA also condemns the ongoing persecution and displacement of Palestinians in the West Bank and other occupied regions—escalating with little international scrutiny. This continued oppression, taking place during the blessed month of Ramadan, only deepens the grief and hardship experienced by families across the region.
As a British Muslim organisation rooted in the values of sincerity, justice, compassion, and kinship, the MCA calls for an immediate end to all violence and a just and lasting resolution that addresses the root causes of the conflict. True peace will only come through the restoration of dignity, rights, and justice for all peoples of the region.
We extend our heartfelt prayers to those affected and stand firm in our commitment to advocating for peace, justice, and compassion in these critical times.
